Epiphany’s Labyrinth Ministry |

We are pleased and excited to announce that
our outdoor labyrinth (made of paving
stones) is completed! Permanent walkways
still need to be constructed, but a gravel path
from the corner of the parking lot closest to the
worship center will take you right to it. Stop by and check it out,
and consider taking a few minutes (approximately 15 – 30) for
this form of walking prayer. It begins at its opening |

at the
labyrinth’s “apron”, leads you to the center and then back out by
the same path. Various ways to pray on the path will be made
available over the next few months. Our new labyrinth will be
blessed this Sunday after the 9:00 a.m. Liturgy. If you are
interested in different possibilities, please contact Linda at

Epiphany’s Labyrinth Ministry has
been developing over the last eight years, offering
Epiphanites and neighbors from near and far a more
active way of entering into contemplative prayer? People
of many religious traditions and those who do retreats on
our grounds join us regularly in walking our outdoor
labyrinth. Our canvas labyrinth has traveled with
facilitators to many sister Catholic churches, schools, and
retreat centers, to other Christian congregations, and even
to the prison in LaGrange, which has since built one of its
own. Our labyrinths have been used for our prayer
services, Lenten practices, formation classes, committee
prayer times and days of reflection. If you’re interested in
learning more about this form of prayer, or using it for
your class, committee or retreat, contact the Worship

The labyrinth will be available for walking any time from 7pm to 8: 30 pm. These Open Walks will be held in the Community Center except as noted above, when it will be held on the permanent labyrinth, adjacent to the Church (on the left). |
